Practice Administrator - Penny

Penny brings with her over 15 years of experience in the medical field, of which, nine of those years have been in plastic surgery. Penny’s extensive medical background contributes significantly to our dedication to quality for each individual patient. A New Orleans native, she has lived in the Houston area for the past 14 years and has come to have a genuine understanding and enthusiasm for our patient population. Her personable attitude has an ability to make everyone feel at ease. Though she maintains an administrative role, being a valuable source of information, she also enjoys direct patient contact, sharing her personal experience, knowledge and insight on many plastic surgery procedures. Her goal is, through her direct interaction, to help each patient through a satisfying, comfortable, and realistic plastic surgery process.

Physician’s Assistant (P.A.) - Laura

Laura has over 15 years of experience in the medical field and has worked as a patient coordinator for the last 5 years with Dr Sukkar. She is formally trained as a Physician’s Assistant and received her Bachelor of Science in biology from UTMB as well as her graduate degree in communications from Texas Tech. Her vibrant personality and genuine concern will effortlessly guide you through the consultation process. Her wealth of knowledge about plastic surgery will ensure that you are well educated about any procedure that you might be considering with Dr Sukkar.

Nurse Manager - Rachel, R.N.

Rachel joins Dr Sukkar’s practice with over five years of plastic and reconstructive nursing experience. She gained most of her experience in southern California along her journey as a travel nurse. She is a licensed registered nurse who provides a personal and professional aspect to the care of our patients in and out of the operating room. She is originally from Baton Rouge, La. where she attended Louisiana State University and graduated nursing school from Our Lady of the Lake College. Rachel moved to Houston over a year ago and has settled here in the bay area. She thoroughly enjoys guiding her patients through the entire surgical process.

Cosmetic Coordinator - Mary

Mary joined our practice with 15 years of customer service experience. She is a native Texan and has lived in the Houston area for 6 years. She looks forward to providing a personalized experience to her patients from their initial contact throughout the surgical process. Her enthusiasm and compassion for her patients instantly makes them feel at home. Mary offers an abundance of plastic surgery information regarding the procedures Dr. Sukkar performs. She welcomes the opportunity to help each patient with regards to scheduling surgery and any questions regarding the financing options our practice offers. Front Desk Coordinator - Stephanie

Stephanie brings to our practice an extensive background in customer service as well as computer application skills to ease you into your consultation with Dr Sukkar. As our front desk coordinator, Stephanie ensures that our patients receive the personal assistance that they need during their consultation experience. Stephanie also schedules surgical procedures and handles any billing or financial questions our patients may have. She will provide you with plastic surgery information in her unique style, making every step of your experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Aesthetic Nurse Injector - Anita, R.N.

Anita’s specialty is aesthetic injectables and fillers, including advanced techniques. Anita has extensive training and experience, and has even trained physicians and other medical professionals in the United States and Canada. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association and the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, and has received certification from the International Meso-Lipotherapy Society, as well as certification in advanced Botox® and filler techniques.
